Well, what about the angels? Do they fly away to Elrath, and archangels fly in their place?

Both angels and archangels are genderless creatures. They simply upgrade: their sword starts to glow (and there's no avoiding sulfur here :D), and they pull a hood over their heads.

But seriously: how do devils upgrade? Or hellhounds? It's a fantasy world; you shouldn't look for logic in the gameplay :).

Are you moderating yourselves :D? Angels are genderless! Although, by analogy with "Heroes 5," they might turn out to be female.
