I am responding: The issue of sounds playing before battles and new day/week/month being displayed can be fixed as I described here: /topic/6880/
Also, the sound when jumping through teleporters significantly slows down the teleportation itself (and Dimension Door, as far as I remember). Its name is probably monolit.wav; apply the same fix as in that topic. Try it out!
