The point was that if I had played that map as Swamp and you as Barbarian, the result would have been exactly the same in my favor, and most likely by a much larger margin.
And you would have whined just the same: "Aaaa... this lucky prick got full control on 122, while I only got one shitty Dragon Utopia at the edge of the world with a +6all helmet and no magic, that's why he ate the whole center by the time I reached him, lucky loser".
The map was actually in your favor despite a wagonload of hidden caches on my side. Because on Jebus Cross, it's not just the loot that matters, but the road geometry and distances between key objects. You had everything compact and close by, plus ГО from Azure on 121 could be dropped by any idiot with bulls without distracting the main army. In the end, Blue would have taken the central Castle around 123 (not 126 like you did), and then calmly grabbed the key artifacts.
But that's all assuming correct play, not the noobishness you displayed.
And then instead of analyzing your mistakes, replaying the map, and finding the gaps, the first thing you did was blame everything on the generator—claiming it didn't give this or that. If they gave parameters, you'd whine that you weren't given control. If they gave control and parameters, you'd whine about lack of speed. Or you'd find some other excuse.
And in the end, it turns out that I, having played my hand at best a 4 minus (the spectators there must have been shocked by the number of blunders), am absolutely crushing you, the "super-duper skilled but unlucky" one. Even though your layout was more promising (see development guidelines above).
It's all because you played your hand at about a 3, without even a plus. When you realize this fact and take measures to fix the situation, then you will grow. Until then, you're just amusing the onlookers gathered at (censored) to stare.
Wicc, reading your posts reminds me of a joke—one member of the English Parliament called another a pompous faggot. The latter demanded an apology and, amidst loud laughter, they apologized to him for the word "pompous." The fact that you (censored) are talking shit about your opponent shows that you are a (censored), and I regret starting to read your posts. All the good stuff was closer to you, more caches, Pandora's boxes with experience, and artifacts for parameters (you also had control in the form of the blue cap and book of fire). No matter how much you (censored) , these facts won't go away. As for the fact that ГО could have been broken earlier—well, I admitted that I chose the wrong priority by going for 2 Dragon Utopias where they gave me nothing useful. I didn't play perfectly, I admit it—but (censored) getting on my nerves with your (censored) about untaken cans deep in the swamp—why the hell (censored) didn't you take the Dragon Utopia half a turn from the road? I know that ГО could have been broken earlier without your (censored), but there's a 90% probability that there would be blocks there that idiots can't break through. That's it, go back to ignore =)
