Secondly: I am well aware of "love thy neighbor," but I cannot react calmly to such things! I don't know if this is a virtue or a flaw of mine.
Thirdly: there is the phrase "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." I don't recall any instance where Russian militants blew up sleeping Chechen children along with their parents and homes. But that our 18-year-old soldiers were tortured to death there—that I remember perfectly. Not because I only remember the evil that the Chechens inflicted on us—ours are no angels either—but I am certain: give terrorists free rein and they will carry out a genocide against us! Russia already has such an opportunity, but even though Russia did not carry out any genocide, the terrorists themselves earned the hatred of Muscovites for their compatriots.
