Actually, it should have been done like in Heroes 4 - the appearance of the Castle should depend on the territory it's located in. For example, when a Human Castle is located underground, the view of the city from the inside should also be underground, not on the surface (yeah, a blue sky in a cave...:p)
And the Academy Castle needs a little tweaking - they have such a thin staircase leading to it that I don't even understand what problems there could be with its defense?
It's beautiful, I don't deny that, even very beautiful, but don't forget about common sense! If the only way to the Mage Castle is a single, thin staircase, why wouldn't they just destroy it when enemies approach? Or even more cunningly - lure them onto the staircase (Heh-heh-heh!:D), and then break it?
I don't really understand what happened to the Necropolis Castle. It's either floating above the swamps, or something else; and there are some kind of lightning rods around it, and the more the city grows, the more of these lightning rods there are. It's also beautiful - amazing; but it's not clear!
