It was a revelation to see the power of skeletons even without Necromancy with Galtran. I captured my home faction's castle late, on day 124, but by that time everything was already bought up. I ran around collecting resources, got a Utopia (quite a good one - wings, a book of earth magic, and a helmet, all +6), and then attacked.
