Another question: do you really need to rework other people's maps? Wouldn't it be better to create your own, starting from scratch? After all, if you're reworking something, it means you think you can do it no worse, and even better.
Well, actually, this is the only case where I reworked a map (I created the map with a piece of a textbook completely from scratch). I liked this idea so much that I wanted to develop it somehow. I do create maps, but rarely, and almost all the maps I have completed at the moment need further refinement.
