07.10.2010 Neverminder (Blue, Conflux, random, Fure, Korvak) def SEM_56 (Red, Rampart, Ivor, Ivor) Jebus cross, 141 tech win. Excellent game. Even with a battle. As usual, in the early game, I focused on gathering resources, while Korvak (whom I immediately decided to develop as a main hero due to his two excellent starting skills) ran around collecting experience. Around day 5, he killed the medusas for the boots of speed, suffering significant losses, but decided that the pace was more important. He gave the boots to Korvak. On day 117, he got two birds and stood before the first Hive. Korvak was level 2. But on the second week, the game really started. The developed Korvak managed a lot, took three Hives, cleared several outposts for excellent artifacts, and as a result, by day 126, he became level 9 with skills 7-14-4-4, with expertise in earth, armor, pathfinding, and the main logo. On day 127, he cleared the Guardian of the Grail (easy: whips), and then the horde of wyvern monarchs for two Pandora's Boxes, and took a dungeon. Ivor is not yet in the treasure and his stats are not impressive. On day 131, I take Pandora's Boxes, which contain 10,000 experience and 10 champions. The Warrior's Tomb gives the air magic book (amazing!). Many plans, but they are disrupted by Ivor, who arrives on day 132 and heads straight for the Library. His skills are 10-9-8-4, my skills are 15-17-8-7. I understand that I need to attack now. I build a portal in the dungeon, destroying a scout with gnomes and dendroids along the way, who miraculously didn't kill my bird, double my mana, and attack. Ivor has 55 grand griffins, 22 war unicorns, 6 wyverns, 100+ centaurs, and minor units. I have 5 birds, 7 psykers, 16 wyverns, 10 champions, 30 ice elementals, and minor units. We seriously cut each other up, and still, the opponent surrendered. Then I make a mistake: a weak unit with 9 green dragons, his main attack stack, was standing nearby; I should have killed him, of course. I increased the bird growth in the third week and started taking Hives. Ivor recovered, got some serious stats, and, as it turned out later, acquired all the magic from the Pandora's Box. Seeing that Ivor had disappeared into the darkness, I decided to rush to his capital. On day 137, I approached the capital, not reaching it by a few steps. On day 141, Ivor attacks with 14 green dragons, 15 unicorns. I understand that this is a red rush. Luck is on my side because, in terms of army, I was superior, but by this point, Ivor already had terrible combat magic and decent stats, and I had three points (I was looking for a well, but there wasn't one).
