Quote from the newspaper:
"The body lay in the center of a circle of candles. Judging by the books on the shelves, the deceased was interested in occult sciences."
And what made you think he was a smoker?
Candles are an analogy: fire - smoke = smoker.
Occult sciences are an analogy to Mabuse's holy attack.
It doesn't really fit the other roles... It fits the smoker the best ;)
Listen, guys... But if Arandor's accomplice is alive, and our mafia member, Hermit, is right about Lizard?
P.S.: I understand that in this game, one of the two mafia groups has a 99% chance of winning.
Lizard tries to kill me, but 13th (or Death redirected ND) gets there first and kills him. The Smokers try to kill Neyra, but they fail. (Neyra is either Death, or it's still possible that the Clown directed some kind of protection towards her).
In this case, everything fits together well.
But if everything happened as Hermit suggested, there are inconsistencies. For example, why isn't there an ND (Night Detective) for Lizard.
And regarding the 99%. Indeed, the situation is extremely difficult. But I intend to fight and cling to that 1%. I won't give up this game so easily.

According to you, Lizard is an Illusionist and is dead, and I am likely a Smoker, but the Clown is not voting against Arandor again.

the second Cylinder is Neyra.
Read the note from the third newspaper =[/QUOTE]
I have the impression that Hermit randomly named a few nicknames. But that's just my assumption...
