Regarding the Lizard, I'm 100% sure he was a bad guy. Moreover, I think he was an illusionist! Why? I'd like to draw your attention to the following:

Yes, I was wrong about his death. He was probably just lying low all this time. Otherwise, Ver wouldn't be singing while washing her neighbor Revanka's dishes. But death played its role well, as it deprived the Cylinders of all their chances :)
Regarding the execution, let's not be stupid and finally execute the Smoker! He's already annoyed everyone here.
