It seems the issue is with the 4.0 executable. I tried replacing it with the one I got from Rebellius (it works for him), but it didn't help. The setup recognizes it, creates a file called SoD.exe_HD.exe, doesn't ask for the disc, but there's no generator and no signs of the mod working. It's just the regular SoD (resolution 1280x1024, 16-bit). It looks like I need to download a different SoD entirely. Does anyone have a link to a version that's guaranteed to work?
Another question: could the problem be that I tried installing ND (version 0.91, I think) back in February? It worked then, but I haven't used it since. Could something from it still be lingering in my system and interfering?
