I don't think Thory would describe a murder by a maniac in such detail. More likely, it would be something like: "Moldavia was in such a hurry to get to the port that he didn't notice someone sneaking up behind him and stabbing him in the back." Even if he killed with a firearm, he would have riddled his victim with bullets, but here it's just one shot to the heart; maniacs don't kill like that.
