When the storm ended, I gave the order to my warriors, and we continued on our way. Two days later, a silent forest appeared before us. In the evening of the same day, we set up camp and prepared for the night. In the morning, the forest was shrouded in a thick mist, and the unsettling silence kept us on edge. One of the shamans said that elves had settled in this forest, and orcs had long since stopped coming here. Yet, once upon a time, our tribes hunted here and fished in the river that ran through the forest. Rumors about the elves were quickly confirmed when we encountered a couple of them. Then we found their camp, and then a second one. All the inhabitants were destroyed, except for one, whom we took prisoner. We managed to learn from him the reason for the elves' appearance in this forest. It turned out that their tribe had formed an alliance with humans in the fight against us, and in return, the humans promised them a part of our lands. Ha, what fools, I thought.
After beheading the prisoner, the orcs continued on their way.
