The Path of Light
A bright light from behind the gray house
Illuminated the endless expanse.
I left, abandoning the familiar world,
Under the boundless celestial dome.
A ray of sunlight will show me the way,
The path to the very edge of the Earth.
I will pray to God one last time
And disappear into the dust of the road.
A path for light through gray shadows.
A path to dawn, departing at sunset.
A path through hundreds of deceptions, doubts,
So that the song can be sung again.
Not believing that God was crucified.
I will walk the endless path of light.
