Seriously, can someone explain what the point is of playing in windowed mode?

I only play in windowed mode. It allows me to read messages in ICQ and the World of Tanks chat while it's my turn (especially useful when I'm streaming – people can quickly give me tips), see the opponent's messages in the game chat and various system messages (like when an opponent disconnects) during their turn, see the moment when the turn is passed, and when I receive a turn, the window doesn't pop up to fill the entire screen, interrupting other activities (for example, I often watch YouTube videos during the opponent's turn – I can pause them and switch to the game).
