Excellent French film; it's difficult to define its genre – on one hand, it's a mystical action film, and on the other, a historical tragedy. The atmosphere of the 18th century is beautifully recreated, and the film received the "Cesar" award for best costume design. I saw a clip of it a long time ago, and now I finally watched the whole thing. I recommend it to those who haven't seen it yet.
Good English comedy action film, partly parodying Hollywood action movies. Amidst the excellent English humor, there are even glimpses of a plot. A decent choice if you need to spend two hours on something.
