One flyer, one sorceress, two archers, two large creatures.
The easiest way to quickly accumulate resources. It might not be the best or most interesting, but it's the easiest. As for me, I just love large creatures like griffins and dragons.
I think it has always been this way. And if not, I never leveled up beyond level 30. Except in Heroes of Might and Magic 4 on one magnificent map, which is my favorite.
I don't think there was a level cap in Heroes of Might and Magic, but getting each new level became increasingly difficult. Personally, I don't understand the point of introducing a level cap. And if they do, let it be higher, like in the second Knights of the Old Republic. [shameless_offtopic]By the way, what map is that?[/shameless_offtopic]
I think the game should "mature" with each iteration, not degrade.
The problem is that developers often get lazy after the success of a series and just churn out something mediocre, hoping that people will buy it anyway.
And yes, I don't want the game to be heavily focused on Multiplayer. I like playing solo.
