Ranger - "Higher Vampire" [5th Campaign, 5th Mission]

Please help! I can’t seem to beat the mission with Nicholas. I’ve replayed it about 4 times, but it’s all in vain! He has such a large army… Is there any way to trick him so he can’t gather such a large army? Please help if you can, I would be grateful.
