I think it was completely unnecessary to make the replacement of the Dragon Fly Hive's contents, in case the troop type matched the native one (what Lebron wrote about on the beta test). It would be much better to simply replace such a Dragon Fly Hive with a neutral object, for example, a Naga Bank. And always assaulting — leaving the Griffin Conservatory to reach the Dragon Fly Hive — in order to avoid getting hit by Greater Efreeti in the first round — is absolutely not cool.

Regarding the Rocs in that Dragon Fly Hive, it was easy to guess — since they offered Necromancer troops, and the opponent was a red Necromancer, it means a replacement took place, i.e., barbarian troops are guarding it. And if they had offered Cyclopes, it would mean Necromancer troops are guarding it.

But in general, leaving a Dragon Fly Hive or Griffin Conservatory or preliminarily attacking them with a scout hero happens quite often — not to find out the guards, but to find out their positioning.

Replacing the reward is necessary for the balance of distributions. Otherwise, what happens — one player gets native troops for free, while another is forced to pay. That's not right...
