The available features are much better suited for single-player, like concrete and fences; these are more for a ready-made base for the storyline rather than for multiplayer.

So, we have that Westwood made great campaigns, with such cool cutscenes, and the multiplayer was surprisingly good. But in Generals, there's neither a single-player campaign with a storyline, let alone cutscenes, and it's just plain bad. And they're also forcing fans of the label to get upset.
