News from the official website of Nival Interactive:
Nival Interactive will present its new projects at the "Igromir - 2006" exhibition in Moscow.
For only two days, November 4th and 5th, 2006, you can observe a unique reconstruction of a real mountain dwarf castle – a new race in the world of Ashan, which will become available in the new game "Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate" – at the Nival Interactive booth, located right at the entrance to pavilion No. 57 at VDNH. Fully meeting the standards for the growth of new members of the "heroic family," the reconstruction of the dwarf castle will also allow visitors to "Igromir" to immerse themselves in the atmosphere typical of mountain dwarves – an endless celebration that easily turns into good-natured revelry, and back again. A trophy DJ of normal height, a metallized support group straight from Valhalla, and a dozen beautiful nymphs (obtained by the dwarves through connections, as the Valkyries refused to participate in this mess) will be ready to entertain the "tall friends" for exactly two days, 8 hours a day. Don't miss it!
In addition, on November 4th, on the main stage of "Igromir," specially trained people who are skilled in positively influencing the audience will be happy to tell everyone about the upcoming add-on "Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate" – everything and even a little more. And to confirm their words and positive attitude, they will give away several completely unique prizes, including finally announcing the results of the grand postcard campaign "Collect the world of Heroes of Might and Magic V," which started with the support of the magazine "Strana Igr" back in January 2006.
Next to this unrestrained extravaganza, other calmer games from Nival Interactive are also planned, such as the essentially peaceful real-time strategy "Blitzkrieg 2: Retribution," in which one very smart Western producer even suggested replacing the color of blood with green and some symbols found in the game with funny faces, just to make things better. However, we haven't heard anything else from that producer since then – probably he was transferred to another position, higher up – so the colors, symbols, and difficulty in "Blitzkrieg 2: Retribution" remained unchanged, perfect for true hardcore strategists.
Also, there is a big request for those planning to visit our booth: if you happen to come across two similar-looking stocky short guys who claim to be Muscovites and start asking you about a certain blacksmith friend, please don't get scared, but return these props to the Nival Interactive booth. These two have nothing to do with the mountain dwarves of Moscow – they are visiting dwarves from Novosibirsk, brave enough to be curious – that's why they run around everywhere. Please return them! We will give you a large gift plushie and invite you to watch the wonderfully beautiful children's game "Brave Dwarves: Creeping Shadows."
