Scientists from the University of Montreal decided to find a man who had never watched pornography, but their search was unsuccessful.

Initially, they planned to conduct a study to compare the views of men aged 20 who had never watched pornography. But their project faced difficulties from the very beginning, as they could not find a single man who could participate in their experiment.

"We started our research by looking for men aged 20 who had not previously watched pornographic films," says Professor Simon Lageness. "But we couldn't find anyone."

Still pursuing their original goal, the researchers decided to analyze the habits of young people who are "regular consumers" of this product (in general, this applies to all men).

Professor Lageness interviewed 20 heterosexual male university students who regularly watch pornography and found that, on average, they first became exposed to pornographic films at the age of 10.

About 90 percent of the "product" is consumed via the Internet, and the remaining 10 percent is due to video stores.

Single men watched pornography approximately three times a week for 40 minutes, while men in relationships did so about 1.7 times a week for 20 minutes.

The study also showed that men watch pornography that matches their sexual orientation, and material that they find offensive or unpleasant is immediately rejected.

Professor Lageness also added that pornography has no negative impact on a man's sexuality. "Pornography does not change a man's attitude towards women and their relationships, as they all want their feelings to be as harmonious as possible," he added.
