Maybe I'm missing something about the Elves, but in the manual, the spellcasting for a skilled Hive is calculated using the formula 40+8*spellcasting, while for a skilled Lightning it's 25+25*spellcasting. I don't understand what Enchanted Rain has to do with it. If you mean that we'll be attacking all enemies with the Hive, and only one with the Lightning, that's silly. In any case, there's also the Lord of Cold.
