50% if we're talking about creatures with innate resistance or immunity to magic. There are also artifacts that reduce damage from chaos spells (boots, ring, etc.). It's definitely harder for Necropolis, but there are artifacts that reduce magic damage (dwarven or armor). In terms of skills (besides magic and education), we take defense with reflection, "magic resistance," or "counterspell." I don't see any other options against this challenge. Although, you could also level up magic depletion in Chaos and attack a Warlock with a Warlock's weapon:D :D...
