Yeah, I thought Stick would play decently with Haven. Maybe mirror match or something with Academy. But he insisted, so I did it out of spite...

But if we think about it rationally, Jebus definitely should have been removed, Necropolis looks much more confident than Inferno. Playing against Necropolis with Inferno also seemed a bit risky, although it's easier than against Jebus. But on Balance, the chances are more even, you have to rely mainly on your own troops, which are more convenient for Inferno in the endgame.

And the fact that Stick probably didn't play Balance enough also played a role. When I choose, I try not so much to pick a comfortable faction for myself, but to pick an uncomfortable one for my opponent.
