1) Were you aware of the existence of the science of "conflictology" before this survey?

Actually, I learned about it yesterday when Siv appeared in Haven, but I think it would be more correct to answer "no" in this situation.

2) What do you think this science deals with?

From the name of the science, it is easy to understand that the object of study of this science is conflicts, in all their diversity. It is difficult to say (due to my ignorance, of course), what exactly conflictology deals with, but a template scheme comes to mind. I suppose that identifying the causes of conflicts, their classification, as well as developing methods for their resolution and preventing their occurrence, are among the tasks of this science.

3) When, in your opinion, did it emerge?

I have no idea when it emerged as an independent science, but its first rudiments may have appeared in the works of Greek philosophers even before our era.

4) Is there a need for such a science at all?

I think it is necessary, at least for those who study it and enjoy it.

5) Is it in demand in our country?

For some reason, it seems to me that this science is not very much in demand at the moment in Russia.

6) Will its importance for society grow, decrease, or remain unchanged over time?

I suppose that over time its importance may increase.

7) Would you personally use the services of a conflictologist? Is there a need for it?

It is impossible to avoid conflicts constantly, but personally I do not feel the need for such services.

8) What problems do you expect a conflictologist to solve?

A conflictologist will not solve global problems, of course, but he is probably capable of resolving someone's personal problems.

9) How much are you willing to pay for his services?

I'm not ready.

10) What do you think a conflictologist should look like and how should he behave?

If a conflictologist works with people, then he should not stand out too much among these people in appearance, I think. In behavior, he should hardly differ much from an ordinary psychologist, that is, be moderately convincing, calm, and perfectly knowledgeable in the subject of his science.
