Conditions for recruiting units.

Thank you, but it's not always convenient to minimize the game and check the reference guide. Is there a formula for calculating this?
Also, where can I find information about how many creatures correspond to a description (few, many, swarm, etc.)? It's sometimes difficult to imagine the strength of neutral creatures without this.
