Holy Abode of Debauchery. English version

But how must this conversation be correct???

- Excuse me, what's the time?
- It's about six o'clock.
etc.

The problem is that usual Englishman just wouldn't understand you if you speak this way. But for Russian people this seems quite normal and understandable :)

For example the phrase "rain pour like from a bucket" they tell "it rains cats and dogs".

Actually, this phrase is a good example of English idiom but it is used in England really seldom. It would be better to say that there is quite heavy rain outside or something like that :)
