Okay, so it will be a hellhound. If I remember correctly, in Heroes of Might and Magic, the unupgraded ones were called hellhounds. Maybe a third head will grow after upgrading.

It still seems to me that the head in the foreground is located exactly in the center relative to the paws.

As an artist (from the word "худо," well, never mind), I can say that drawing extra body parts is not easy. Glitches and other unpleasant things are not uncommon even among professionals.
