The dwarves continued deeper and deeper into this volcano (Harkas said it was a volcano). It seemed like there was no way out, and we were going to die here. Then Tursagan suggested trying to trigger an eruption that would kill all the elves, and perhaps we could find shelter. It was decided to explore the cave in search of an exit to the surface and something that could be used to trigger the eruption. And, of course, not to forget about the elves and dwarves, as well as the trolls that Krawg (the griffin) sensed in this cave.
The search was not long, as the elves quickly caught up with us, and we had to simply run forward. But, unfortunately for the elves, there were many trolls in these tunnels. While they fought each other, we quickly ran deeper into the cave, where we found a strange rune. This was our salvation and our doom. With the help of the rune, we awakened the volcano, and the eruption began. Lava gradually filled the cave, engulfing the trolls, elves, and dwarves fighting each other. In the end, the river of fire flooded the entire cave, taking the lives of everyone inside. Rugnur and Tursagan knew that they had not died in vain, because the powerful Scepter of Fire did not fall into the hands of the elves...

we activated the rune, and the walls collapsed, allowing the trolls to break free and attack the elves

some of the dwarves and elves still followed us
look at the upper left corner, there an elven rider almost single-handedly (then the second one arrived) killed the troll king and his minions, only one remained

the trolls arrived to finish off the elves and dwarves

they killed them, and the lava rose to the required level...

the cunning griffin flew away, damn it. (it's strange that the other griffin, which I hired myself, didn't fly away)
