The more I play 8mm6, the more I dislike this template; it even irritates me. It feels like putting together a puzzle. Four teleports and three forks leading to the nearest secondary resource point – no thanks, that’s not the kind of “strategy” I want. I also get annoyed when it’s ten times harder to find an opponent than to kill them, and on HL+U maps, as I understand it, this is a common occurrence. If you want, you can run around until you’re blue in the face; there, having an expert Teleportation skill while your opponent doesn’t is practically a guaranteed win. I agree that it resembles chess, but it doesn’t resemble checkers. On Jebus, by the way, there are even fewer options than on the standard map, but people still play it.
Stop rambling. If you don’t want to suffer, you’ll meet someone in the center within 2-3 weeks. But if someone is wandering around somewhere else at that time, it’s their own problem – they risk missing out on the good stuff:smile15:
