Didn't like the template, the nearest secondary town was over 10,000 moves away, the only pickups were medusas. On the second turn I took Griffin Conservatories 3+2, Dragon Fly Hives 4+6. On day 133 Dragon Utopia (the only decent one on the map) — books of Water and Air, Sword of Justice. Due to unfamiliarity with the template, it took a long and painful time to find my opponent, whose capital was within 1 day's travel via Dimension Door from mine. The opponent got a really bad draw; by the final fight on day 225, he had nothing to counter except a 600-damage Bolt. My 18 archangels with Antimagic killed everyone. I don't understand why this template is so praised. Thanks for the game.
