It won't be. Ashan is not connected to the universe of the previous installments of Heroes of Might and Magic, and Forge definitely cannot be in it.
By the way, as far as I know, Forge fit perfectly into the universe of HoMM 1-4. True, I haven't played the RPG "Might and Magic," which takes place in the same universe, but, according to rumors, there are plenty of technological elements there.

In general, I think that elves and nagas will most likely appear. Two types of plains and a "new race" speak in their favor.
