wowa (Tower, Piguedram, Miner) def teri (Necropolis, Gosha) 216@anarchy-mayhem, slow roads

on the eve of the final battles of Mayhem-2 on the Portal, I deliberately simulated a situation that could well arise when you choose all restarts ;) (in mayhem, you play with random towns and heroes)

conclusion is definitely 1: it's better not to let it get to the point where you're left without restarts :D I managed to pull out the reported game only due to more precise play at the end, and well, Gosha's mistake decided it, when he forgot to refill his mana at the well near my capital

as for the game itself, nothing mayhem-like was found on the map except diplomacy – no cartographers, no upgrade zones, no scrolls, only at the very end were 3 components of the Li Lich Vindicator found, but I couldn't mass-produce liches – red surrendered just on the following turn
and at the start, Grechkin came to Piguedram, so it became possible to do something at the respawn, I focused on all scrolls that were guarded
the arriving Miner goes with freshly built mages and Power of the Horde for a promising scroll behind a horde of upgraded dwarves, but something's buggy there :(
standard week's defense – Nagas in the Citadel, everything bought out, enough Peasants running around
at the beginning of the 2nd week, trouble: 2 stacks of 49 black dogs for the beehive, 2 morale procs and the golem shield is already gone, they gnaw at the hoods twice each :( nevertheless, I somehow got going, grabbed a bunch of forts, including a Dungeon with red's external dwelling nearby – but the portal is already polluted by a Pixie external dwelling, which a Peasant took to run to the Conflux fort, and I have nothing to beat them with :( but Miner finally gets diplomacy, and then logistics :) only there are no joiners yet – the army is too small :( meanwhile, at home, a lookout tower is being built for Miner's wisdom, but there's nothing in it for transport
on the 3rd week, I start slowly getting going, seems like something even joined – but only at the start of the 4th week do I take the tier-3 Dragon Utopia near the Conflux – got the Book of Earth :) with it, I run to the GO in the center, the road is long and winding, with expert logistics, stables, and boots it takes 1.5 days to run(( for red – judging by the shroud – the GO is from a Titan Pao next to their town, while my horde of unicorns from above and a lot of Arch Devils from below, which ate the joined horde of Medusa Queens along with Miner's mana, below are 2 Dragon Utopias compactly located, where half of the Throng of Black Wolves get wiped – the reward is the Helm and Plate Armor of the Titan, Shield all at 4 and the Red Orb
but the next turn didn't allow me to delve into the treasure zone – Gosha flickers alongside LaBett, they don't spot Miner, and Galtran escapes into the darkness at the start, the Power of the Horde, including skeletons, is with the elementalist! I don't chase red's boss, because there are no Shackles, no mana either, so he'll escape anyway, but I won't be able to catch the caravan later, so:
FF1 – Miner without mana with the Orb, 4 angels, 14 gremlins, weekly growth of Archmages and Naga Queens + 70 wolves + their units
on the other side, LaBett with zero stats, but the Power of the Horde is just horribly immeasurable – I kill everything except the skeletons and buyback on an angel
then we maneuvered a bit, didn't find another Dragon Utopia, Gosha galloped through the underground to my capital and holed up there without mana – from the Dungeon along the road I get:
FF2 – Miner 4 angels, nearly 90 Orc Chieftains, 37 Fanatics, 8 Cyclops, 15 each of Thundergazers and upgraded Shamans, and 70 Destroyers, mana nearly 300
Gosha has his usual mishmash: 70 Silver Pegasi, one and a half hundred regular Shamans, 40 Cyclops Kings, 70+ Medusas, 35 Golems and 800+ Skeletons, plus 4 little angels as a bonus, but only 5 mana points
basically, with such an advantage in magic, the battle was not difficult, although there were options: we got Oil immediately cast on us, but if we had saved mana for Mass Haste when the wall was breached (my angels died at the gate), then the skeletons would have hit... however, it wouldn't have affected the outcome of the battle itself..)) so many artifacts dropped from Gosha that they didn't even fit in the backpack :D :D
the next 2 days red spends all their time digging up the main skeleton-diplomat, but unsuccessfully, and on 216 surrender followed

huge thanks to the opponent for the game, I wish her further success in mastering this wonderful game :) and more heroic exp of course – and well, exp, as is known, is earned in battles ;)
