The strongest ones in the late game are Inga, Ibba, Erling, and Ingvar (but Ibba and Erling look much better in these cases)...
KillandAction, what exactly didn't you like about Erling if you consider him not so good?
After the top three, I would put Helmar, Ingvar, Karli, and Brand!
