The counter-hero to Iris is Deirdra; she usually wins. Ossir, Leto, Orson, Nimue, Carli, and Ibba have decent chances (50/50, or slightly less). In principle, with good circumstances and if the opponent doesn't play perfectly, you can defeat her with almost any hero. Except for Deirdra and Daleb, it's very difficult.
I think Iris has found a tactic specifically against Deirdra. Have everyone sit in defense and shoot with archers and monks; use the rest to defend or attack the nearest enemies, but don't expose yourself. Use the hero to remove vampirism; don't cast any other spells. If there are many obstacles on the map, it works. The usual tactic Deirdra uses against Iris no longer works; you need to find something new.
