I remember that after switching from the third game to the fifth, I didn't like the reduction in factions; six was meager compared to nine. Honestly, it's a classic to divide into good versus evil pairs; they need a couple more fresh neutral factions, and then it would be a huge success. Although, I think they will appear later...
The homeland of the Necromancers is strangely listed as the silver cities.
Maybe the Necromancers are actually descendants of the Mages, i.e., evil outcasts?
