What does Speedy (scouting + searching) give? I still don't understand...

This is one of the key classes. With an expert-level Speedy skill, the hero speeds up using the fastest creature from their army. This means you can have at least one Angel and won't necessarily need to stop to gain speed. It's very convenient in the later stages of the game.
