Heroes 6 - Discussion

So, who told you that the game is being created for fans? The game is being created for the masses, for those millions who buy these discs. Among them, there are many, and most likely even the majority, are casual buyers. I can even judge this by myself; I was never a fan of Command & Conquer or Starcraft, I didn't play the first games, but I still spent money on the new ones. And I'm not the only one who does this.

Unfortunately, our views on this issue may differ, but there are no statistics. It's unlikely that there were surveys like "are you a fan of the series or did you buy the fifth installment because of the beautiful cover?". Two million isn't that much; why wouldn't most of them be old fans of the legendary series? However, I bought the fifth installment based on the advice of a good friend; if he hadn't told me about it, I probably wouldn't have paid attention to the game. Well, Heroes and Heroes, who knows what's going on there. Now, to find out about the essence of the game, you just need to visit any forum about it; as you know, fans of the game hang out on forums, and if they are dissatisfied with the game there... a potential new fan of the series might change their mind about buying the game. However, I'm just telling you how I would have acted; maybe there are many people who can buy the game without looking at it, but that's a different question.
