Five times in a row, "diversity" is no longer diversity.
1 resource is never easier than 7, that's a strange concept.

Problem, officer?

The more diverse resources needed to build a town, the more effort is required to find them or capture the corresponding mines. Now, ore and wood will be mined automatically, and then we just find one gem mine, and that's it. We have a constant flow of all the resources needed to build a town. Isn't that a simplification?
