In my opinion, no matter how hard the developers try, the majority of players who prefer the third installment are unlikely to play Heroes 6, 7, etc.

For them, it will always be
http://www.kino-govnoM. They might download it out of curiosity, try it out, play for a bit, and then criticize it :D :D :D

I would probably download it myself and give it a try. But I doubt I would stick with it. HoMM3 is forever)

The issue is also that modern game developers have been focusing most of their efforts on improving graphics rather than interesting gameplay for quite some time, perhaps to please computer hardware manufacturers or for other reasons. As a result, they often create a bland game with beautiful packaging, while the most interesting games were made before the advent of super-powerful video cards and gigabytes of RAM. IMHO.
