2. In mm6, plenty of things simply don’t get scouted. The map is large, there are few heroes, and the pace isn’t enough for everything. Roadless treasure zones are the first to be ignored. Very often they’re left "for later," when everything else has already been eaten and there’s nothing left to do. In this game, there didn’t seem to be such episodes; there was always something to devour in overseas lands.
I too wouldn’t have scouted that treasure zone right away, but here the opponent is clearly below your level.

But I would certainly have scouted that treasure zone, the road to which takes about 1000 MP from the blue faction’s native spawn. Maybe it’s time to wrap things up.
