Yes, I see that Vikk is really going wild there. He clearly doesn't understand democracy very well and leans towards monarchy; he's practically bursting with the desire to divide forum users into "boyars" and "rabble" (of course, everyone who disagrees with him automatically falls into the "rabble" category). Well, since he can't achieve that, he just occasionally spits out bile. I think he'll eventually get over it sooner or later.

If you were more attentive or insightful, you would have noticed that:

1) I don't make a fundamental distinction between monarchy and other forms of social organization. All effective systems are structured in roughly the same way, as I described earlier in the thread.

2) There are many more roles than just boyars and rabble. In general, there is relatively little "rabble" in any normal group; most people play various socially useful roles.

3) The role of a boyar is not something I naturally gravitate towards – if I do play it, it's without much enthusiasm, and I try to switch to more comfortable roles as quickly as possible – preacher, scholar, writer, etc.

In other words, telling kings, boyars, merchants, warriors, craftsmen, etc., who they are, how to achieve and maintain their status – that's easy; but doing it myself – I don't have the enthusiasm for it.

P.S. Vikk, your parents clearly didn't raise you well; they forgot to explain that it's impolite to talk badly about someone behind their back, especially knowing that I don't read your posts. You could have refrained from making snide remarks about me, although I guess "boyars" don't need to be cultured...

Where did you see "behind my back"? Everything is publicly available. Sometimes I even abuse my ability to express my opinion about people to their faces, and they get offended.
