In this case, you didn't understand the meaning I put into the term "boyars." It has an indirect relationship to the boyars of Kievan Rus'. And that's what I was actually pointing out. This is not a sign of inadequacy, but rather a sign of a different set of associations. It happens...

No. And this is one of the thoughts I wanted to convey with that post. That despotism, monarchy, democracy, etc., are just decorations for the public, and the meaning of what is happening is roughly the same everywhere.
I wanted to say that those you call "Boyars" are not the Chosen Ones.
And I didn't call them the Chosen Ones. These are people who, due to their personal qualities, can take (create/obtain/seize) the right to make decisions not only for themselves (and their proteges), but also for their neighbors. To influence the group ideologically or administratively.
This is not about status or position, but about mindset and character. Not everyone can do this, even in relation to their wife and children, and yet we are talking about such activities in relation to subordinates, partners, colleagues, competitors, all sorts of independent players, etc.
