The respawn was rather poor; he didn't even summon any Psikhs, didn't take a secondary hero, and his chains weren't ready in time, but he managed to regroup well on the second attempt.
On the secondary hero for Conf, there were two Dragon Utopias, but with GO from Hydras, I decided not to drag it out too much; I attacked 30 Hydras and then attacked Kirrush in the Castle; magic ruled.
