Listened to albums for three days

Now I need something heavier.

How can you properly appreciate two albums in just three days?
It takes me much more time, especially since I usually listen to 3-4 albums by different bands, and it takes a month or two to properly evaluate all of this, choose songs for a best-of compilation.
OR I listen to the discography of one band in the same amount of time and also evaluate it; for some reason, it takes that long.
