How many participants should there be in an Academy (Academy) game?

Tired of reading about the constant criticism of the Academy, when the vast majority of people voted for its usefulness. Judging, making "unpopular" decisions, and defending them has already happened (except perhaps in Heroes tournaments), and it seems to be okay now too, so I'm nominating myself.
