The setup was almost perfect (native secondary, external dwelling of cats, though I never found a single Griffin Conservatory) — but I played terribly sloppily. At the start of the second week, a loss to 5-9 gr. hydras (turned out to be 9 in 7 stacks), followed by pointless running around treasure zones where I could barely pick up anything. In the middle of the third week, Brogh arrives through an adjacent zone; the army is unimpressive, but mine isn't great either... I take a couple of Hives on 6 and 8, a teapot for 100+ mages. By the end of the week, I attack Brogh; slightly better stats and 100 mana allowed me to defeat slightly superior troops despite the opponent having Mass Haste and me lacking Mass Magic — 16 Crusaders never got to strike even once.. It turned into a win despite my truly error-prone play. Thanks for the game.
