Sylvan vs. Necropolis

Playing against Orc with the Elven Archers will be very challenging, as they are strong in all stages of the game (early, mid, and late game). If it's an early or mid-game, you should definitely take Chaos, as it's a great way to deal damage and, combined with Empathy, allows you to cast spells more often. For the early or mid-game, I recommend the following build for the Elven Archers, not just against Orcs: Attack (2), Tactics and Archery, Luck (3), Leadership (2), Empathy, Chaos (3). This will allow you to capture machines with ballistae. If you're lucky with the Blessed spells, you'll have a good chance of winning. Just remember that Orcs have very strong rushers like Haghesh and Tilsek, who can arrive earlier than you expect. As for the late game, the Elven Archers have no chance on a map without a Mentor. My opinion:
- in the early and mid-game, the chances are 40 to 60 in favor of the Orc;
- in the late game without a Mentor, it's 0 to 100 in favor of the Orc; with a Mentor, it's 90 to 10 in favor of the Elven Archers.
