Various questions regarding Heroes WOG 3.5.x.

I play, save my game, exit the game, start again... everything is fine... but as soon as I turn off the computer.... after turning it back on and trying to launch the game, it says that the HoMM3 file is not a System32 file and therefore will not be launched... I have to reinstall everything from scratch. Maybe I've caught some kind of virus..... besides Heroes, Download Master, Arom Switcher, and CD Ex (programs) also don't work... so what's the truth here? Did I install something wrong or is it actually a virus?

I had the same thing with WoG 3.58. I never figured out the reason... although I didn't try very hard! ;) Now I have downloaded Heroes TE in full (already installed) - no such problems so far.... By the way, it's possible that this was specifically a virus problem, I have such suspicions...
